Fly, fly away, my friend. - Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports
I'm sure you've seen the numerous reports that our good friend Sergei Kostitsyn is in negotiations to play in the KHL next year. Maybe it's true, maybe not. I, for one, would not be too upset if he decides to make the jump. I know he's had some good years, and could be productive in the future, but will he be? From what I saw last year, I don't think so. Not on this team. I don't think he's lazy or anything like that, he just played tentatively all year. When we needed him to step up and be the player people expect him to be, he slid backwards. And the stubborn refusal to shoot was maddening. So if he wants to go home and play there, I say Bon Voyage, and good luck in the future. ( Editor's Note: We get thousands of emails asking "How can I express my love for OTF in a totally platonic, non-threatening way?". Now we have an answer: Go to vote for us in the Toast of Music City Reader's Choice Awards! Do it today!)
