It is no secret the Predators have put themselves in a position where they will probably not make the playoffs. Because of this, they will be wielding a very high pick in the draft. Now, should the Predators use the pick, instead of trade it for immediate value, they will probably have the opportunity to draft a player that could bring goals to Smashville. Yes, this draft is full of players that can put the biscuit in the basket and while it might not be as strong as last year's draft, there are definitely some gems. Many of you are not be very familiar with the drafted players so I intend to provide you with enough information so you will not be watching the first couple of rounds asking yourself "who is that?" Here I have given you a look into how I intend to do it.
Players To Watch
Before I start the analysis of the players I will provide a list of players to watch which will give you a list of 10 or so first round picks to keep an eye on because of their desirability for the Predators. I will be putting this up either today or tomorrow.
Over the next few months I will be analyzing upwards of 30 players from the upcoming draft to inform you about the future players of the NHL and, specifically, the Nashville Predators. I will go over the players strengths and weaknesses (if they have any,) what experts are saying about them, videos, and informative websites.
End of the Season Recap
Now, because the play of the players will change over the next few months, I will give a quick recap of the players at the end of the regular season and provide new videos, sites, and stats. I will not go over every single player I previewed before hand but I will go over the ones the Predators will be choosing between from come draft time.
