As we all know, fans love to boo Gary Bettman at the Cup presentation. I'm sure each and every one of them have very legitimate reasons.
This makes me wonder how you as a Nashville Predator fan would react if he was presenting the Cup here in Nashville. Would you boo him? Cheer him? Stand quietly?
Also, what reaction do you think people SHOULD have at a championship presentation? Should what the commissioner has or hasn't done as commissioner impact how people react at this moment? This moment in any sport that should be the pinnacle of the sport's calendar?
I am of the personal opinion that as a sports fan this is the one moment in a sport's calendar where fans should be respectful of the moment and not taint it with the booing of the commissioner. I would hope that if Nashville ever hoisted a Cup, then we as Nashville Predator fans would extinguish ourselves from the pack by not booing and maybe even cheering. Of course, we can easily see how he's done a fair amount to help the city of Nashville have a hockey team and we should be grateful.
I can see how someone could argue if the commissioner had made a decision since the last cup that you felt had negatively impacted the sport in an EXTREME way that you may want to boo, but I feel if someone felt that way about it then they shouldn't be spending the money on the ticket that got you to the presentation. You should probably consider walking away from the sport and letting your cash do your booing.
The poll reflects how you as a Predator fan would react, but let's get some comments on how people should react.
