Peter Laviolette, ice cream, and thuggery: A hockey nugget.

I received this great nugget of hockey today in the form of an email from my mother. Keep in mind this is a woman who three years ago wouldn't have been able to call an offside.

So what’s up with LA winning. Gosh darn it. Not happy. They are a bunch of thugs that play dirty. One of my bosses is Canadian, him and his family are hugely into hockey of course. The new Preds coach was in his neighborhood looking at houses when the ice cream truck went by. His son went out to get ice cream and recognize the coach and they got talking. Long story short the new coach bought all the kids ice cream from the truck. Nice.

Nice indeed. Cheers to Coach for making a bunch of kids' days, to the Kings for playing dirty, and to ice cream for being so damn delicious. Mmm, ice cream...
