Which fighters are suited for regular playing time?

Ew. I'm not up on my enhanced stats, but if I'm not mistaken, Rich Clune falls into the small pile of fighters that are "useful." Someone read this and tell me I'm wrong. Because I feel wrong.

Allan Muir of SI Supports Firing Poile and Trotz

It's in Allan Muir's Power Rankings. Where he talks about Predators at 23 he mentions if the organization was smart they would get rid of both. "They're toast and if anyone in the organization is smart, they'll make the decision to move on without GM David Poile and coach Barry Trotz first thing Monday morning. Both are good hockey men who'd quickly find work elsewhere, but they've had enough time to try to make Nashville more successful than it has been."

Elliotte Friedman's 30 thoughts #4: Nagging feeling: Nashville takes a run at Thomas Vanek.

Nashville Predators Intro Video

Here's the latest intro video, which ran before tonight's Nashville Predators/Colorado Avalanche game.

Victor Bartley's First Goal

Less than six minutes into the first period of the Predators game against the Flames, Victor Bartley notched his first NHL goal. He owes a nice dinner to Craig Smith, who made an amazing heads up play to get him the puck.

Why we need to stop glorifying players who rack up penalty minutes | Backhand Shelf

It's good to hear this side of the game talked about more openly. It's why Rich Clune has failed to live up to his Sean Avery-like aspirations (takes more penalties than he draws) and there's more value to former Pred Kevin Klein than his low point totals and PK ice time.

Jason Zito doesn't just bring the snark with the Dump & Chase, it looks like one of his tweets made it onto the Nashville Predators' social media page, too! See if you can spot it...

The Importance of Patience | Admirals Roundtable

For those who want to see Filip Forsberg and Calle Jarnkrok get ice time in Nashville sooner rather than later, Daniel Lavender makes the case for letting them play out the string in Milwaukee instead.

He's Back

Pekka Rinne wasted no time getting back into form during his first start since October, making a phenomenal kick save on Pittsburgh's Chris Kunitz. Welcome back, Pekka. It's been way too long.

Winnipeg's finest photobombs Mark Howard

There's Mark Howard, trying to perform his 2nd intermission TV duties, when an overzealous Winnipeg Jets fan jumps in to give a "woohoo!" to TV viewers throughout Smashville. Well done, Miss.
