This is the trade thread from the Flyers official site.
Watch as Flyers fans react to the rumors, rejoice when the deal is confirmed, and then eventually find out what they gave up.
This is top flight entertainment.
Rumors are beginning to circulate that defenseman Jack Johnson, the third overall pick in the 2005 Entry Draft by the Hurricanes, is set to be traded again, this time to Anaheim — along with the fifth overall pick — for another player who used to be with the Carolina franchise: Chris Pronger.
Because there is a trade freeze right now, deals cannot be announced. This is also a *rumor* (and a HockeyBuzz one at that). If nothing else, one this is certain: dealing Johnson for a package that included Tim Gleason is looking smarter and smarter by the day.
