The schedule of HD Nashville Predators broadcasts on Fox Sports TN has just been released - follow the jump for all the details...
The National Hockey League's Nashville Predators and the team's television broadcast partner FOX Sports Tennessee announced today that the network will televise 30 Nashville Predators' 2009-10 regular-season games in High Definition - an all-time high for the Predators. The HD schedule includes 13 of the team's final 16 contests. Predators' telecasts on FOX Sports Tennessee will reach cable and satellite households across Tennessee, Kentucky and northern portions of Alabama and Mississippi.
The first FOX Sports Tennessee HD telecast is the season opener on Saturday, October 3 at Dallas (7:30 p.m. CT). Other highlights include the home opener on Thursday, October 8 (7 p.m. CT) as well as the team's four-game road trip in March during which the club visits Atlanta (March 9, 6 p.m. CT), San Jose (March 11, 9:30 p.m. CT), Anaheim (March 12, 9 p.m. CT) and Los Angeles (March 14, 2 p.m. CT). The Predators' final game of the season against the St. Louis Blues in Nashville will also be televised in HD by FOX Sports Tennessee.
FOX Sports Tennessee will also broadcast the preseason edition of Predators Snapshot - an inside look at the Nashville Predators - hosted by play-by-play announcer Pete Weber and analyst Terry Crisp. The preseason edition of Predators Snapshot will feature a look at the 2009-10 Nashville Predators, along with a special trip with Ryan Suter to a Nationwide Series race last summer. Predators Snapshot will air on Saturday, October 3 (6:30 p.m. CT) before the Predators' game at Dallas (7 p.m. CT). Future episodes of Predators Snapshot will be hosted by PredsTV insider Kelly Sparks.
