Nashville Predators cut 12 players from training camp

From the Nashville Predators:

Nashville, Tenn. (September 16, 2009) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club removed 12 players from its 2009 training camp roster, leaving it at 44 players.
2009 draft picks Taylor Beck, Gabriel Bourque, Michael Latta and Charles-Olivier Roussel were returned to their junior teams, while Scott Brannon, John Decaro, Mike McLean, Jacob Muzzin, Brock Sheahan, Arvid Stromberg, Pierre-Alexandre Vandall and Mark Van Guilder were released from Professional/Amateur Tryout Agreements.
Seven players who participated in Predators Rookie Camp - Jonathon Blum, Ryan Ellis, Ian McKenzie, Chet Pickard, Mark Santorelli, Russ Sinkewich, Jeremy Smith, Nick Spaling and Colin Wilson - have now joined the main camp.

No real suprises here, except perhaps that so many of the rookies are sticking around for the main camp. Of course, they might be needed to provide sufficient numbers for some of the drills.
