Predators win pre-season finale 4-2 over Columbus

The Nashville Predators wrapped up their pre-season schedule with a 4-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets (box score). The winning goal actually went to Francis Bouillon, who played his first game for Nashville on his tryout.

Ryan Jones led the Preds with two goals, the first an unassisted tally which opened the scoring, the second coming in the third period on the power play. Nashville went 2-4 with the man advantage, with Patric Hornqvist getting the other PP goal early in the second.

Dan Ellis made 36 saves, as the Preds were outshot 38-23 on the game.

Nashville finished the pre-season with a 4-2 record, and opens the regular season Saturday, October 3rd in Dallas.
