From the Nashville Predators:

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Ben Guite to Milwaukee (AHL).

Guite, 30 (7/17/78), played two games with the Predators during his most recent recall - Thursday vs. Carolina and Saturday vs. Anaheim. He is pointless in six games with Nashville this season, averaging 8:29.  The 6-1, 211-pound center has 16 points (5g-11a) in 32 games for the Admirals, including eight points (3g-5a) in his last six outings at the AHL level.

The injury situation has been dynamic at both the NHL and AHL level, and the fact that the Preds are sending Guite down just as they head out to Western Canada for back-to-back games tomorrow and Tuesday may well be a sign that at least Joel Ward might be able to return soon.

According to John Glennon this morning, Jason Arnott is expected to miss two more games (at Vancouver and Edmonton).
