There are two games on tonight's NHL schedule which impact the Western Conference playoff scenario, and one features the two biggest rivals of the Nashville Predators:
Detroit @ Columbus: The Red Wings are tied with Nashville at 98 points, but have an extra game to play. Can the Blue Jackets rise up and play spoiler against Detroit? With a 3-4-3 record in their last 10 games, I'm not very hopeful that Columbus can come through.
Chicago @ Colorado: The Blackhawks have a chance to catch San Jose for the top seed in the West, something I don't think most Preds fans want to see. If Chicago went #1, San Jose would drop to #2, setting up a possible 1st-round date with the Predators. So goooooooo Avs!
