The Nashville Predators announced this afternoon that they have placed defenseman Teemu Laakso on Injured Reserve, dating back to last Tuesday's game against Los Angeles (he had been scratched from the last two Preds games). This means he is ineligible to play in tomorrow night's game against Washington, due to the 7-day minimum outage that's required to go on IR.
Nobody has been called up yet from Milwaukee to fill that spot on the roster, so along with the word that David Legwand is out for tomorrow's game, too, this means that as of now, the Preds have 21 players available, with just one who would be scratched against the Capitals.
