Nashville Predators fans will have to hang on just a while longer for the two major news items of the day. Jordin Tootoo's hearing with Brendan Shanahan is supposed to take place shortly, after which we'll hear whether or not he gets suspended for his hit on Buffalo's Ryan Miller Saturday night. Meanwhile, the NHL's Board of Governors meeting is just starting this afternoon in Pebble Beach, with realignment the hot topic on the agenda. While it's not certain that a decision will be reached on that front, the amount of chatter going on among the mainstream media members covering the event appears to indicate that this may be the day.
