Nashville Predators reassign Mark Dekanich to Milwaukee

In a move that presumably means Anders Lindback is well enough to back up Pekka Rinne, the Nashville Predators reassigned Mark Dekanich to the Milwaukee Admirals this afternoon.

Per the team:

Nashville, Tenn. (February 19, 2011) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Mark Dekanich (MAHRK DEH-kuh-nihtch) to Milwaukee (AHL).

Dekanich, 24 (5/10/86), spent one day on the NHL roster, but did not dress for a game in his third appearance on the Predators roster this season. The 2011 AHL All-Star is ranked fourth in the American League in wins (20), goals-against average (2.04) and save percentage (.929).
