Today's Nashville Predators news and open discussion thread:

  • These last two victories? Kind of a big deal. [City Paper]
  • A healthy Mike Fisher means good things for the Nashville Predators. [Predlines]
  • Looking at how well the Preds responded to Barry Trotz's exhortations after the Anaheim win. [Preds on the Glass]
  • This is a little premature, I'd say, but you have to wonder if Nashville's recent play is a sign of great things to come. [USA Today (Allen)]
  • A Preds fan. From Bulgaria. Awesome. [Preds on the Glass]
  • A (very) quick look at the playoff race. [Preds Insider]
  • It looks like former Predator Dan Hamhuis will miss tomorrow's contest after sustaining the fourth concussion of his career. Get well soon, Hammer. [Puck Daddy]
  • Discussing the NHL and concussions. [Hockey Night in Nashville]
  • As the situation stands, the Nashville Predators have a 96.2% chance of qualifying for the playoffs, according to Sports Club Stats. If they finish with 102 points (unlikely), there's a good probability they pass the Phoenix Coyotes for home ice advantage, while finishing with 99-101 points presents a good chance to play the Coyotes as the 5th seed. The point here is this: while things are trending significantly upwards, there's no reason to let up now.
