Nashville Predators fans who have been craving a little live hockey action can get their fill at this week's Development Camp, offering our first look at many of this weekend's draft picks, along with other prospects working their way towards the NHL.

Make your plans accordingly this week, as there are open sessions from 10:00 a.m. - noon on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday at Centennial Sportsplex, with the final workout Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. We posted the preliminary roster here last week, but expect that to change as the new draftees get added, and sometimes there's an additional undrafted player who gets invited, too.

The big news today will come with the announcement of Kirk Muller as head coach of the Milwaukee Admirals, but follow after the jump for the rest of your morning notes!

Why is it that the only people I've seen talk sense about the CBA are bloggers, not mainstream media? The problem with teams struggling to meet the cap floor can best be addressed in one of two ways - increase revenue sharing, or widen the gap between floor and ceiling. My guess is that the latter is the more palatable option.
