Tuesday's Dump & Chase: KHL Partners With ESPN

It looks like we may be able to host some Game Threads soon here, after all. While the NHL's CBA negotiations are stuck in the mud, the KHL is stepping into the gap. Today, they announced a deal which allows hockey fans in the U.S. to watch KHL games live.

If you get ESPN3.com (Comcast internet provides it, for example), you can start catching KHL action tomorrow. This isn't a TV channel, it's a streaming online service - Bride of Forechecker uses it to watch her beloved Ball State Cardinals football. Our first chance to watch Alexander Radulov comes on October 8, as CSKA takes on SKA.

UPDATE: I've confirmed with a KHL representative that these broadcasts will indeed feature English-speaking announcers, unlike a couple years ago when ESPN3 carried the Russian feed.
