Wednesday's notes: Rest, Recuperation & Reception on tap for the Preds today

Following back-to-back games over the last two days, the Nashville Predators are taking the opportunity to rest, canceling their practice for today. It also gives the newest Preds, Andrei Kostitsyn and Paul Gaustad, a chance to take in their new city and acclimate themselves to the environment, since the team doesn't play again until Saturday at Florida.

There's no rest for hockey fans, though - your morning hockey notes follow after the jump...
