With the race for the 4-5-6 spots in the Western Conference so wide open right now, there has been some talk that perhaps dropping down to 6th wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. After all, a 1st-round match with the Pacific Division winner may turn out to be easier than facing either Chicago or Detroit in the #4 vs. #5 series.
