The Los Angeles Kings seized the early advantage in the Stanley Cup Final, taking Game One last night in New Jersey by a 2-1 overtime score. The game itself was somewhat overshadowed, however, by major news items developing around the league. Later this morning, Detroit's Nick Lidstrom is slated to announce his retirement at a press conference in Detroit, while the commissioner's address to the media has put business issues in the spotlight...
