Wednesday's Dump & Chase: Doomsday For the NHLPA?

Last month, the players gave the NHLPA's leadership authority to file a Disclaimer of Interest, effectively removing the union as their negotiating entity and throwing the CBA negotiations into uncertainty. Today is when that authority expires, so all eyes will be on New York, where talks are expected to continue and speculation builds that a 48-game season may commence later this month.
