With Paul Gaustad having recently returned from Injured Reserve, and Mike Fisher avoiding broken bones due to that shot block late in Thursday's loss to Phoenix, the Nashville Predators apparently feel well-stocked at center, and are sending Chris Mueller back to Milwaukee.
This just arrived from the Preds:
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Chris Mueller to Milwaukee (AHL).
Mueller, 27 (3/6/86), posted three points (2g-1a) during his six-game stint with the Predators, scoring his first NHL goal on March 19 at Columbus, and his first game-winning goal on Monday against Edmonton. He returns to the Admirals where he has 36 points (18g-18a) in 55 games.
