With Mike Fisher and Gabriel Bourque both out of the lineup for tonight's game against Colorado, the Nashville Predators have called up reinforcements from Milwaukee in the form of center Chris Mueller. He had just gone back to the Admirals on Sunday, but by coming back he gives the Predators flexibility to move Craig Smith or Nick Spaling out to the wing, going with Gaustad-Legwand-Mueller-Spaling/Smith down the middle.
This just arrived from the Preds:
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Chris Mueller from Milwaukee (AHL).
Mueller, 27 (3/6/86), posted three points (2g-1a) during a six-game stint with the Predators from March 15-31. The West Seneca, N.Y., native has appeared in 25 games for the Predators dating back to the 2010-11 season, posting six points assists (2g-4a). He also has 36 points (18g-18a) in 55 games with the Admirals in 2012-13.
