Nashville Predators News: Filip Forsberg Recalled From Milwaukee, Bang & Henderson Sent Down

USA TODAY Sports

Filip Forsberg will get one last chance to impress Nashville Predators fans (and the front office) tomorrow night at Columbus, as he has been brought back from a short stint in Milwaukee today by the Preds. Keeping him to just 5 NHL games played will ensure that his entry-level contract slides for another year, an important consideration when it comes to the development of a player who could play a key role in the team's future success.

At the same time, Daniel Bang and Kevin Henderson are heading back to Milwaukee, as the Admirals prepare to open the playoffs tonight against the Texas Stars.

This arrived from the Preds:

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Filip Forsberg from Milwaukee (AHL), while assigning forwards Daniel Bang and Kevin Henderson to the Admirals.

Forsberg, 18 (8/14/94), has one assist in four games for the Predators since joining the club on April 13 upon the completion of his season with Leksand of Sweden's second division.
