Wednesday's Dump & Chase: Blackhawks Try To Get Even; Game 4 Tonight

While they're only up 2-1, the Bruins seem to be the better team. We've had two overtime games, so the results could easily be reversed. But they're not. The Hawks haven't scored since halfway though the first period of Game 2, which is close to two full games without a goal. And no team has ever won the Cup without scoring in the final 5 games. It's one of the longest streaks in sports. (Side Note: Voting is open for the Toast of Music City Reader's Choice Awards. OTF is nominated in the Best Blog category, and we'd love your vote. Has he considered that the good people of Montreal are going to watch (or Google search!?!) hockey regardless of how many teams are physically in that city? Perhaps the way to grow the sport is to create fans (customers) in places where there aren't many?

Blackhawks lose money while winning games - Crain's Chicago Business

I have a solution: All the Blackhawks fans promise to never come to Nashville ever again, and instead go to games in Chicago. Ticket prices go up with demand, the team turns a profit, and we get a pleasant arena experience for Hawks games. Don't thank me...solving problems is just what I do.
