Saturday's Dump & Chase: "Homecooking", "Must-Win Games", Etc. Etc. Etc.

Remember how like a month ago, the Preds were about 9 points out of the final playoff spot and we were thinking if only they could win this game or that game, take advantage of "home ice", stuff like that, they could climb back in the race? Well as of today, they're 9 points out. And at the end of this month, they'll probably still be 9 points out. That doesn't mean we've got nothing to look forward to. Pekka's eventual return, the (hopefully) inevitable call-up of Filip Forsberg and others, and perhaps a trade or two? Still lots of fun to be had. Pretty soon, the math will become impossible to ignore, and this team can start thinking about the future…and I, for one, can't wait.
