Thursday's Dump & Chase: Preds Get Back to Business

Fun time is over, kids. Time to get back to work. The Preds are in Boston tonight, and in case you don't remember (or are actively trying to forget) the last meeting…things didn't go so well. But hey, it's a new year, the Preds have scored 9 goals and beaten 1.5 good teams in their last 2 games, and absolutely anything is possible. Right? Join us in the game thread later for some Talk Therapy…always a good time, even when the game isn't.

1. While Poile is the GM, there were A LOT of cooks in the kitchen on this one. And there seemed to be agreement that this was the best roster.

2. At least 5 of those cooks appear to have been Brian Burke, who is arguably incompetent.

3. As with any team, on-ice performance will tell if some of these choices were the wrong ones. We'll know soon enough.
