At the tail end of the first period in a game against the Winnipeg Jets, head coach Peter Laviolette took an errant puck right to the forehead. Reports are that the puck will miss some time with an undisclosed injury.
Seriously though, Laviolette was visibly bleeding, but after toweling off he remained on the bench to finish the period. He also was not happy, presumably because his team played so terribly bad.

UPDATE: Lavy won't even miss a shift.
