Friday's Dump & Chase: Improvements need to continue with PP and Faceoffs

New, comments

A lot was made about the improvements the Preds would or would not make to their struggling power play. They answered with two PP goals. But the Predators PP has been bad all year so more work is still needed and it will get a shot against the Blue's 20th ranked PK. Another area the Predators should look to improve are faceoffs. They out played Dallas last night but only Paul Gaustad had a 50% night in the circle winning 9 of 18 draws. Faceoffs are obviously important for puck possession and currently the Predators are 26th in the league with only Vancouver and Calgary behind them in the conference.
