Monday's Dump and Chase: Return Of The Goalies

Whew, this weekend was a busy one! The WJC tournament is well underway (including an impressive U.S. shellacking of Germany last night), and tonight the Preds face off against Chicago with playoff implications on the line. This Monday also happens to mark the return of seemingly every injured starting goalie in North America, with the Islanders, Blues, Flyers, and Sharks all getting their starting net-minders back on the ice (hopefully the Preds will not be appearing on that list this season). It should be interesting to see how all the fresh faces influence the playoff race. Speaking of which let us all take a minute to appreciate those standings this fine Monday, enjoy the week folks, and have a safe and Happy New Year!
