Wednesday's Dump & Chase: Let's All Say Something Nice About the Predators

In case you haven't noticed, things have been pretty negative around here lately. The team has had two disappointing seasons in a row, and we're all pretty frustrated. And to get the change we need to turn things around, we're forced to be pretty loud about our our ticket reps and other team management, to our friends and co-workers, on social media, and believe it or not, right here in the comments section. I'm probably more to blame for this than anyone...I have a "If you ain't first, you're last" mentality as a sports fan, and we've been much closer to last over the past two years. I think I've been pretty clear about my contempt for the philosophy and decision-making of the current leadership, as have many of you. So what I'd like to do today is challenge everyone to say something positive about this season and this team. I promise we can return to hammering away tomorrow, but just for today, let's try to turn those frowns upside down and share something we like about being a fan of this franchise. I'll start with a couple...Craig Smith's entire season. Anytime somebody TRIES to shove Shea Weber. The first half of every Stalberg breakaway. Calle Jarnkrok's Million Dollar Hair. Mike Fisher's league-leading handsomeness. Seth Jones-Canadian Soul-Crusher. And lastly, all of you...I see more new people joining the conversation here every day, and that's awesome. You guys absolutely kill me with your comments and the always hilarious game threads, so thank you for that. So now it's your turn...if you can't say something nice, don't say it until tomorrow.

The discussion about the team's current preference for seniority over skill and/or potential is an important one. I know it's technically a union shop, but I think Coach might be taking it too far.
