The Nashville Predators are continuing their off-season work by signing defensemen Garrett Noonan and Jaynen Rissling to their entry level contracts today (two years for Noonan, three for Rissling).
Noonan just finished his collegiate career at Boston University, after being drafted in the 4th round by Nashville in 2011. Rissling was recently acquired from Washington in exchange for the Predators' 7th-round pick in this summer's NHL Draft.
Both will presumably skate with the Milwaukee Admirals next season, as Noonan has wrapped up his NCAA eligibility and Rissling just completed his 5th season with the WHL's Calgary Hitmen.
UPDATE: The Milwaukee Admirals have also announced that Noonan and Rissling have signed amateur tryout contracts which allow them to join the Ads for the Calder Cup Playoffs, which begin on Friday against the Toronto Marlies.
