Monday's Dump & Chase: Blackhawks (Ugh), Ducks (Meh) Advance to Round 2

New, comments

In case you haven't noticed, I hate the teams I hate just as much as I love the teams I love. I hate the Blackhawks AND the Blues, so this series was quite the pickle from a rooting perspective. The best case scenario was LOTS of overtimes (we got 6) and the losing team to fall apart in some totally demoralizing way (thanks, St. Louis!). I'll admit I would've preferred Chicago getting swept, but hey, I'll take it. And Dallas. Oh, Dallas. They say everything's bigger in Texas, and I guess that includes the failures. What a bummer. And while we're talking about things that are awful and stupid, you may have noticed the weather is a bit rough today...keep aware of the situation and don't do anything dumb. You can fly that kite some other day. If you're not already, follow @NashSevereWx on the Twitter, and tune in to your favorite local radio or TV station as well. Be safe!

After only three years? What a bunch of babies. You should give it AT LEAST another 10-12 years before even considering changing course.

They're trending in the right direction, which I guess is not good for us. Would've preferred they suck for a few more seasons instead.
