Friday's Dump and Chase: Our Little All-Star

New, comments

It feels like just yesterday our little Filip Forsberg was suiting up in training camp to try and make a name for himself in the NHL. It probably feels so recent because it was only five months ago. Even though Forsberg was already making the trip to Columbus, it's great to have him officially be named an all-star and to draw more attention to what has been a spectacular rookie year. They grow up so fast.

"He is a gifted raconteur, even among hockey elders renowned for their storytelling. So, when Bryan Murray shares the anecdote about how he found out his peers are planning to honour him at the NHL GM meetings in Boca Raton, Florida in March, a punch-line is building."

4 things we learned from the 1st half of the NHL season | theScore
I'm not really sure how the Preds get lumped in with the Flames and Jets for "winning games and seizing points they shouldn't by showing a greater will than their opponent." Maybe I'm watching a completely different Predators team.
