Tuesday's Dump & Chase: THE AGE OF CALLE

New, comments

I'll own it. I'm a Calle Jarnkrok homer. He's this gorgeous Swedish kid with a smile that could cure whatever hurts your soul. He's also a darn good hockey player. Last night he played some good minutes all night on the PK, even strength, and matched up well against one of the best players in the league (Patrice Bergeron) in Boston. It's one game, but we'll take it. We'll take it, run with it, and make it more sensational than it needs to be. That's what we do.

Well, yeah. One has banners and a fan base that's been known to carry a team through the playoffs. This is what bad hockey does to markets. But trust us... when the Canes are good (and they will be before too long) that's a tough place to play. Get well, Raleigh. We like you.
