Wednesday's Dump & Chase: The Wild Make Their Push

New, comments

Even though the Wild lost valuable points to the Oilers, of all teams, they are now 7-2-1 in their last ten games. They traded for a servicable goalie in Dubynk (who has been fantastic) and today added depth at forward by aquiring Sean Bergenheim to compensate for a few injuries. The Wild have been a fascinating team all season and might be playing their best and most entertaining hockey of the season at the right time.

I haven't watched much of Sekac but I love watching Smith-Pelly. Good pick up for the Canadiens.

How Tyler Johnson went undrafted will always be a mystery to me. I understand he's 5'9" but he had the junior pedigree of a mid-round pick at the very least. He's also won a WJC Gold Medal, a Memorial Cup, and a Calder Cup in the AHL.
