Friday's Dump & Chase: Question Appreciation Day

New, comments

It doesn't matter the question, Patrick Kane is here to appreciate it. Questioning how he feels about disgracing a proud franchise in the off-season (again)? He's all gracious. How about a question about his known public drunkenness? He's glad you asked, man. What about... the case? Nah, but he thanks you anyways. Every year, hockey players are asked hundreds of questions and "talk abouts". Glad to know someone appreciates our work.

Rant

As it pertains to hockey, we're in control more than we give ourselves credit for. Let's not let some overgrown children with receding hairlines and drinking problems and bad deci-... yeah those guys... let's not let them run us off. It's our game. It's up to us to hold people to a standard that's acceptable to all people. But it starts with us.

Let's make today better than yesterday. For most of you, the weekend will begin shortly. Plenty of folks don't get a real weekend, so make sure they have a swell Friday/Saturday/Sunday as well. Tip an extra dollar, be nice in traffic, whatever you got to do.

We got this. Enjoy your Friday.
