Thursday's Dump & Chase: Worse Before It Gets Better

New, comments

Wednesday's headline claim of a tampered evidence bag in the Patrick Kane case was extremely unsettling at the very least. Opening night is just a few weeks away but the excitement of a new season is dwarfed by the seriousness of the ongoing allegations against one of the league's most recognizable players. Now the ugliness and embarrassment of the Blackhawks' (and NHL's) decision to let him play is magnified. Again.

San Jose Sharks Not Dead in the Water | The Hockey Writers
The Sharks are a hard team to read right now. On one hand I wouldn't be surprised if they were a top-10 team in the league. But on the other hand seeing team teal fall apart again wouldn't be shocking either. At least Hertl's Dave and Buster's toxic sludge has turned back into blood.
