Moses' name is the biggest on there. It's a bit of a shock, but it also isn't a surprise to anyone who has seen him play throughout the preseason. While he was signed for a cool million to hopefully boost Nashville's secondary and tertiary scoring, there were plenty of caveats that came with it. He's an undersized, 26-year-old getting his first taste of NHL action, and it seemed like a bit too much for him right now.
Hopes were high for him to fit with the team, but it looks like he'll have some time with the Admirals to get used to playing in North America again. Don't give up on him making his mark on the NHL just yet.
The Predators' roster is now at 25, with one more preseason game and eight days to decide on the last two cuts.
