Saturday's Dump & Chase: Rich Peverly calls it a career

New, comments

18 months after collapsing on the bench during a game, Rich Peverly has decided to retire. In my opinion he was one of the more understated bottom-six players during his time with the Bruins, particulalry during their 2011 Cup run. As a (brief) former Predator and an undrafted player, his 442 games and .55 points per game should be celebrated even though they aren't eye popping by any means.

But when you read this, try not to pour kerosene on your laptop. The Buffalo News included quotes from the former DA, who is proud to point out that this process is fair to the "high-profile athlete".
