According to Elliot Friedman on Hockey Night in Canada, Subban’s injury may be worse than we’d thought, and possibly puts his season in danger:

Options include rest and hope it improves. Worst-case scenario is surgery, which puts him out a while. Definitely no desire to see that.

Obviously, this is very concerning, but I don’t think we should panic just yet.
