Tuesday's Dump & Chase: Nothing really got solved

New, comments

For all the love the Preds' front office has received, there are still a couple of holes in the roster. Are the coaches expecting Kevin Fiala to take another leap forward? Has Mike Ribeiro had the "summer of his life"? We'll have to wait a while longer to find out. But if no player available was worth losing Craig Smith in the expansion draft, they did the right thing by doing nothing.

This is great. I've spoke many times about how the NBA creates more drama and turns itself into an awesome primetime network show, and this is the aftermath. And full credit, the NBA has owned the news for the last 4 months, even surpassing the Stanley Cup Final, the NFL Draft, and... baseball.
