In his first season with the Nashville Predators, P.K. Subban has accomplished something that no other Predator has before: be named a captain of an NHL All-Star team.
According to the team’s website, Subban joins former Montreal teammate Carey Price, Sidney Crosby, and Connor McDavid as the other captains. Subban’s first All-Star appearance came last year when the All-Star game was in, you guessed it, Nashville.
The All-Star game will be held Jan. 29 in Los Angeles. This will be the second year of the 3-on-3 format, featuring three 20-minute games.
Given the recent injury it remains unknown if Subban will be back in time to play in the All-Star game. Given the 2-3 week timetable for his return, it is still possible he can make it back in time.
