Wednesday's Dump & Chase: Closure

New, comments

Six months after the trade that changed the face of the Nashville Predators' franchise, fans finally got to say good-bye to the beloved former captain.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

It was a bitter-sweet moment for Nashville, but giving Shea Weber the Smashville Standing-O one last time felt like the only way to finally close the door on his time as a Predator.

Then in true Weber form he scored a game-tying goal and no one in Bridgestone Arena knew how to react. The Predator's couldn't get it done in overtime but Weber's return almost took the edge off of another loss. Almost.

Thanks for the memories Shea. We'll be seein' ya.
