The Predators have placed James Neal on injured reserve after the forward has missed the last two games. With being placed on IR he will miss at least the next two games. Nashville plays in Chicago on Sunday night and at home against Vancouver on Tuesday.
Neal leads Nashville in goals this season with 14 to go along with six assists in 33 games played.
Along with the Neal news, the Predators also announced that they have recalled forward Frederick Gaudreau from AHL Milwaukee. The 23-year-old has appeared in eight games already this season for Nashville notching one assist. He has five goals and nine helpers in 24 games played with AHL Milwaukee.
Viktor Arvidsson is also assumed to be banged up after he missed Friday night’s game in Florida while Colin Wilson left the contest early in the second period. Their status is unknown at this point.
