I'd expect the Predators to utilize their Game 1 lineup again tonight in Game 2.— Adam Vingan (@AdamVingan) May 31, 2017
There’s always a chance that Laviolette decides to throw more speed on the 4th line, which could slot Harry Zolnierczyk or Miikka Salomaki instead of McLeod, but I’d say that’s unlikely.
Pontus Aberg — Colton Sissons— Filip Forsberg
Viktor Arvidsson — Mike Fisher — James Neal
Frederick Gaudreau — Calle Jarnkrok — Craig Smith
Cody McLeod — Vernon Fiddler — Austin Watson
Roman Josi — Ryan Ellis
Mattias Ekholm — P.K. Subban
Matt Irwin — Yannick Weber
As for the Penguins, there may not be any changes either. One guy to keep your eye on is Carl Hagelin. Coach Mike Sullivan told media that Hagelin was a healthy scratch in Game 1. Given that he stayed on the ice for extra work today, that probably means he will be scratched again, but who knows.
The other guy to watch is Patric Hornqvist. He wasn’t particularly effective in 13 minutes on Monday and he is coming off an injury. Might we see someone like Hagelin in his place? Or someone else we didn’t see in Game 1?
Chris Kunitz — Sidney Crosby — Conor Sheary
Scott Wilson — Evgeni Malkin — Phil Kessel
Carter Rowney — Nick Bonino — Bryan Rust
Jake Guentzel — Matt Cullen — Patric Hornqvist
Trevor Daley — Olli Maatta
Brian Dumoulin — Ron Hainsey
Ian Cole — Justin Schultz
