Tonight was the first of a November home-and-away between the Nashville Predators and the St. Louis Blues. Frederick Gaudreau finally got his first official NHL goal (we’ll always have the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, Freddy), Ryan Ellis found the net—albeit a net without a goalie in it—and Pekka Rinne finally passed Miikka Kiprusoff’s mark for career regular-season wins by a Finnish goaltender.

Yo that Fil toe drag is just the bomb. I love that he just pulls it out randomly in the neutral zone, not solely for a scoring opportunity like most people. It’s just a part of his normal play nbd.

Also, I refuse to note that it's Freddie Gaudreau's first career NHL goal since he did this a year and a half ago --> https://t.co/l0PpX4OtW2

You might think it’s a Cup Final game because Freddy Hockey scored but you know it’s not because the Blues are playing

Filip Forsberg now has 14 goals in his first 22 games. He's 5 games ahead of last year's goal-scoring pace, when he had 14 in his first 27. Finished with 26.

Rinne makes saves sometimes like he's trying to get a spider out of his hair. It's really interesting to watch, and also highly effective.

The #stlblues are 0-8-2 when trailing after the second period this season. Maybe they’re due. [Narrator: They were not.]
