The Recap
It’s been a while, old friends.
The last time we checked in the Nashville Predators were embarking on their 2018 Stanley Cup quest. And, well...we know how that turned out already. No need to open up old wounds.
The summer was the longest one in recent recorded history and October felt like it would never arrive. Now it’s Christmas and already the 2018-2019 season has been a ride for the Preds.
We raised banners...much to the rest of the league’s amusement...
And the organization’s...

"Bridgestone Arena is the toughest rink to play in."
Our brain:
don't say it
don't say it
don't say it
don't say it
don't say it
don't say it
don't say it
don't say it
Us:
"Raise another banner." https://t.co/00VVsKHSaf
We said hello to some familiar faces and welcomed some new ones...
And after spending some time at the top of the league it seemed like the Preds were picking up right where they left off, until everyone started succumbing to injury.
Down went Rinne...
Down went Arvidsson...
Down went Subban...
Down went Turris...
Down went Forsberg...
Down went Sissons...
Down went all our hopes and dreams.
The good news is, Rinne and Turris are already back and Arvidsson and Subban should be making their return soon. We’ve still got plenty of time for the team to get healthy before the real push for the playoffs begins.
Meanwhile...
It’s Christmas and after spreading some Christmas cheer...

...the boys have a few days off to celebrate with their family and friends.
P.K. Subban is...hanging out with the New England Patriots? Somewhere the Tennessee Titans are not happy about this.
I guess this makes up for it...for now...
Roman Josi spending quality time with his family...
...are the tags still on his shoes? You do you, Josi.
Everyone’s favorite New Yorker was able to make it back to the Empire State to celebrate this year...
While Filip Forsberg perfected the Christmas Tree selfie angle...
...while Ryan Hartman was hanging out in an actual tree...
And everyone’s favorite four-legged brothers got festive with their team spirit...

Happy Holidays
There’s still a lot of hockey left this season. We hope you enjoy this holiday break to relax and take a step back from that hockey panic button. You know the one.
While Predators in the Wild took an unintentional hiatus, we’ll be seeing you in 2019. After all...the boys still have some unfinished business to attend to...
