After a long weekend of games at the Ford Ice Center, the Arkansas Razorbacks emerged victorious as the SEC club hockey champions. The #2 Razorbacks demolished a strong #3 Kentucky team 7-2 in the semifinals before besting #1 Florida 5-1 in the final.

Relegated to the third place game, Kentucky would also fall to pre-tournament favorites Georgia by the score of 6-2. While third place is probably not what Georgia was hoping to walk away with entering as the #1 seed, they still had a very impressive showing at the tournament.

While the University of Tennessee was not in this tournament, their black and gold rivals were. Vanderbilt entered the tournament as the #7 seed and had to play the eventual champions in the first round, falling 3-1 to Arkansas. They still put in an admirable performance and probably rue some missed opportunities to pull closer to the Razorbacks.
