Mike Fisher started practicing with the team and seems to be feeling okay. The boys had a day off and play at home tomorrow night. Fun times!

Fisher Practices with Preds as Comeback Bid Continues | NHL.com
This is definitely a step in the right direction. As are (per Carrie's Instagram) the workouts with Isaiah. For those wanting him back immediately (looking at you Twitter), please chill. We can't sign him without putting someone on waivers until the trade deadline at the end of the month.

Subban admits Crosby never said his breath smelled | NHL.com
"So, P.K. Subban never needed that Listerine after all." Really, Mr. Crosby had no sense of humor about this. What did he think P.K. could do - quote Sid's f-bombs to the reporter?

These uni's have aged well. I have the similar home design from around 2006 - Jordin Tootoo, lol.

And after too long an absence, here are the boys. There is another photo on Ryan Johansen’s Instagram which is also cute. And while I didn’t see it when he was a little guy, Dozer may be aptly named.

Jonathan Toews' troubling, sudden decline has Blackhawks in a bind | Sporting News
Wasn't this man just named one of the best 100 players ever? (Over Evgeni Malkin mind you.) I wonder how much is him needing to get out of his own head versus getting owned in the playoffs versus the result of all the tough games over the years? I know age always wins, but I would have bet on him to be outstanding for a few more years.

For Blues fans, Reaves gone but not forgotten | stltoday.com
"Former Blues enforcer, now with Pittsburgh, gets warm welcome in return to St. Louis." As opposed to Alexei Emelin, Reaves got the video. How about we all agree to forget him?

Finally - some really nice saves to go with all of the goalie beat downs this week! Hi Ryan Johansen! Good try on the wrap around. Hi P.K. Subban - ouch. Maybe get out of Pekka Rinne’s way next time. Roman Josi to Nick Bonino back to Josi - SCORE!

Inside the NHL: It’s time to dump terrible playoff format | The Buffalo News
Does anybody disagree? Personally I agree about losing top teams too early in the playoffs. Also, I really don't think you need to manufacture rivalries in the playoffs. Anybody who knocks you out will be your rival for years until you beat them (if you beat them - looking at you Washington Capitals).
